As MBA Plant, we have added another strong reference to our global supply chain of asphalt and bitumen equipment. We have successfully completed the installation, field testing, and commissioning of a 10 tons\/hour capacity big bag bitumen melting plant<\/a><\/strong> and thermal oil heater<\/a><\/strong> system, specially designed and manufactured in line with the operational requirements of our client operating in Romania.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Highlights of the Romania Big Bag Bitumen Melting Project<\/h2><\/div>
<\/div>

Heating, liquefying, and storing bitumen that arrives at the job site in solid “big bag” format is crucial in geographies with limited or challenging bitumen supply chains. The system commissioned within the scope of our Romania project was engineered with high efficiency to eliminate these regional logistical hurdles:

Daily Production Capacity of 80 Tons:<\/strong> With a melting capability of 10 tons of bitumen per hour, our plant is optimized to seamlessly meet the daily average requirement of 80 tons of bitumen for the site.

20 m\u00b3 Storage Capacity:<\/strong> To maintain the precise temperature of the melted bitumen and keep it ready for immediate transfer, a 20 m\u00b3 integrated bitumen storage tank ensures an uninterrupted operational cycle.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Integrated Crane System for Forklift-Free Sites<\/h3><\/div>

Considering the absence of a forklift at our client’s project site, we engineered the plant with a special integrated crane system<\/strong>. This built-in hoist mechanism handles the lifting and loading of big bags directly onto the unit, enabling safe and rapid operations without requiring any external heavy machinery.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n

High Thermal Efficiency with a 1,000,000 kcal\/h Thermal Oil Heater<\/h2><\/div>

All heat requirements of our plant, which features a thermal oil heating system, are met by our in-house manufactured 1,000,000 kcal\/hour capacity thermal oil heater<\/strong>. To ensure maximum safety and energy savings under harsh site conditions, the heater is equipped with the following technical features:

High-Efficiency Insulation:<\/strong> Advanced technology insulation layers applied to the boiler body minimize heat loss to the external environment, maximizing fuel economy.

Removable Front and Rear Cover Design:<\/strong> To simplify maintenance and cleaning processes, the front and rear covers are manufactured as fully removable types.

Refractory Concrete Technology:<\/strong> High-strength refractory concrete lining applied to the inner surfaces of the covers prevents heat loss and shields the metal from thermal deformation caused by extreme temperatures.

Advanced Safety Equipment:<\/strong> A high-efficiency burner consuming light fuel (diesel\/fuel oil) is utilized, and pressure, temperature, and flow control sensors are integrated into the system to maintain operational safety at the highest level.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Turnkey Installation and Commissioning Process<\/h2><\/div>

All mechanical assembly, thermal oil piping, and bitumen pipeline installation works at the job site in Romania were executed by the technical teams of MBA Plant. A dedicated pumping station<\/strong> was also installed for the fast and practical filling of mobile bitumen tanks.

Following the startup of the system, necessary technical operation and safety training were provided to the onsite operators, completing the delivery process with 100% customer satisfaction.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n
