Custom-designed to meet our client’s exact job site requirements and operational needs in Libya, the factory manufacturing processes for our 15 tons\/hour capacity big bag bitumen melting plant<\/strong>, storage tanks, and thermal oil heater system have been successfully completed, and the complete line has reached its destination site.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Integrated Plant and Equipment Configuration of the Libya Project<\/h2><\/div>

In today’s global market, where many countries meet their bitumen demands through imports, transporting bitumen by sea in a solid state inside drums or “big bag” sacks is a widely preferred method. To re-liquefy this solid bitumen rapidly, safely, and economically at the job site, we integrated the following high-capacity components into our Libya project:

15 t\/h Big Bag Bitumen Melting Unit:<\/strong> The high-flow main unit engineered to transition solid bitumen into a liquid phase rapidly.

Two 40 m\u00b3 Capacity Bitumen Tanks:<\/strong> Two highly insulated vertical\/horizontal [bitumen tanks]<\/a><\/strong> dedicated to preserving the melted bitumen at its ideal temperature and pumping it continuously to production.

1,000,000 kcal\/h Thermal Oil Heater:<\/strong> Our own high-efficiency, manufacturing-grade [thermal oil heater]<\/a><\/strong> equipped with advanced safety systems to meet the entire thermal energy requirement of the facility.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n

Industry-Redefining Technology: Direct Heating via Dual Burners<\/h2><\/div>

The most critical technical feature that sets this project apart from traditional systems\u2014and gives our client a massive advantage in terms of both time and operational costs\u2014is our innovative heating methodology<\/strong>:

Dual Burner Integration:<\/strong> Unlike conventional bitumen melting plants, the heating process in this project is executed directly via burners. Two powerful burners integrated directly onto the melting unit maximize the heat transfer rate, allowing the bitumen to become fluid in a much shorter time. This dual-burner technology optimizes fuel consumption on-site while reducing start-stop cycle times to a minimum.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Manufacturing and On-Site Installation Workflow<\/strong><\/h2><\/div>

Thanks to MBA Plant’s high manufacturing capacity and robust supply chain, the factory production processes for this comprehensive facility were completed in a record short period of approximately 25 days<\/strong>.

Following the logistics operation, the equipment arrived safely at the job site in Libya, where the foundation and concrete ground works had already been finalized. Right after our technical team completes the mechanical assembly and piping for the bitumen melting unit, the 40 m\u00b3 bitumen tanks, and the 1 million kcal\/h thermal oil heater, the system will be commissioned on-site for a complete turnkey handover.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n
